Hey guys! How many of you are making squares for the little lady in England? My mom is making some, and let me tell you, they all look really cool! Maybe some time in the future she will post some of the pictures of them! And do you know who to thank for giving my mom all of the wonderful and beutiful patterns? Miss. Gloria from "the anecdotes of a hooker!" Well anyway back to the subject that I was talking about, making squares for the little lady in England. Well watching my mom make all of those squares, really made me want to make some to help her. So I sat down and my mind went totally blank! I could not remember how to make one of those STUPID Granny Squares! So I went over to my mom and said " Mom I can not remember how to make one of those Granny Squares"! So she walked me through the steps and I started to get the hank of it! Then when I was finished I held it up to show my mom and you would never guess what we both experienced, it was a horrible disaster! It was all crook eyed!!!!!!!!! :( So I had to frog it! ( By the way if some of you don't know what frogging it means, it means that you have to pull it all out! ) So, ever since then I have never touched a single Crochet Hook ever again!
So did you like the interesting story? I worked really hard on the ending! Well I hope you all have a "greyt" week!
P.S. I have been out of school for four days now!

wow. that was a interesting story.
ReplyDeleteLittle did I realize that jogging your memory about making that granny square was going to cause you such trauma. Patience is not one of your outstanding qualities, although you have many others.
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, The Bean has been out of school for 4 entire days, which means that dear old Mom (who works from home) has not gotten much work done since the snow and ice hit us last week. But, there's hope on the horizon . . . I believe all the OKC metro schools are open for business tomorrow. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Now, don't you give up. Get that hook back out and get to work. I can't even tell you how many squares I have had to "frog." In fact, I had to frog one just yesterday and I've been crocheting for a LONG time.
ReplyDeleteGet back to it, Hunter. RIGHT NOW!
