Attempting my first chain




Well here I am doing my first few stitches of crochet!! Just look at me! I look so nervous!:o) This was last Thanksgiving.

    I THINK YOU LOOK CUTE. I REMEMBER WHEN I FIRST STARTED CROCHETING, AFTER ALL THESE YEARS THE THRILL IS STIL THERE WHEN I PICK UP MY YARN.

    You guys are so cute! Hunter I want to see that first finished project posted on your blog, you've got to do like the hookers do and and show it off!

    Great choice for blog wallpaper those are my daughters 3 favorite colors.

    I LOVE your hair in that picture! I use to have mine really short like that, but I've been letting it grow out for many months now. I miss how easy it was to take care of!

    You and your mom look so happy!! Well you know I'm a hooker too and I'm always SO happy to see the art of crochet being passed on to younger generations. Did you know that for a long time it was a dying art because no one was doing it? Knitting took over for awhile. It's made a HUGE comeback so it's not on the endangered arts list anymore....whew!!! I'm very happy to see you on your way to fiber artistry and I look forward to seeing all of your lovely handmade things!!
